Nestled in eight acres of beautiful Green Flag award-winning grounds is the Grade II listed Field Place Manor House. The manor as you see it today boasts its original Georgian façade and portico, making an elegant entrance and backdrop for your perfect day. Original features mix with a modern twist, such as the refurbished, fully licensed bars in the barn, which dates back to 1773.
The I dos
The Pavilion Barn, surrounded by beautifully designed gardens, features exposed beams and a long, sweeping aisle. This delightfully spacious setting allows for ceremonies of up to 150 guests. Situated east-west, with a north side of flint, its pan-tiled sloping roof provides a covered terrace area overlooking the new Wedding Gardens. Opened in spring 2018, they were designed by Chelsea Flower Show Gold award winner Juliet Sargeant. The gardens offer a spectacular outside ceremony space, set within gorgeous white planting and, while still in their infancy, arches of soft wisteria to walk through. This new outside ceremony area allows for 150 of your nearest and dearest, with contingency in place to utilise the Pavilion Barn in inclement weather.
Ceremony spaces inside the manor include the Oak Room and the Chichester Room.
The celebrations
Dine and dance the night away in the beautiful converted Sussex Barn, which radiates warmth and delight through its original oak-beamed high ceiling, fairylight canopy and stunning soft furnishings. It has capacity for 120 of your loved ones to share in your wedding breakfast and even more for the evening celebrations.
The Pavilion Barn is also available for festivities, with direct access to the parterre.
