The Bell in Ticehurst hosts Rosemary Lane Day Music Festival and Summer Fair

Exterior of The Bell in Ticehurst

The Bell in Ticehurst's annual music festival returns bigger and better than ever on Sunday 16th July 2023, with an intimate acoustic set by Grammy Award winning artist Steve Smith (Dirty Vegas and Squeeze) and local solo artists/bands King Size Slim, Cuban Moonshine, Kay Iris, Charlie Austen and Paul Cheese. Alongside the eating, dancing and merriment the venue is also hosting the Rosemary Lane Summer Fair, a fantastic opportunity to shop locally and peruse the wares of local artists and makers.

The Garden Kitchen will be serving food over fire and the cocktails will most certainly be on ice! There'll also be face painting for the kids (and adults).

Music starts at 11am with Village Sounds in the Garden with Graham Erickson. Live music starts at 2pm until 8pm. The summer Fair starts at 11am until 3pm.

The Rosemary Lane Day is inspired by the acoustic guitartist and singer-songwriter, Bert Jansch, who lived in Ticehurst in the 70s while recording Rosemary Lane and was a patron of The Bell.
