Wild Shermanbury is a wellness and events venue, situated on a working farm at Shermanbury Place Estate.
We host events, parties, weddings and retreats, in our party paddock and woodland.
We offer accommodation in the form of wild camping and an off grid shepherd hut.
We pride ourselves on our flexibility to help our clients curate their dream event.
The setting is rustic, rural, wild and woolly, a blank canvas venue where your imagination can run wild.

Wild Camping and off grid shepherd hut

During the summer months, we offer two fields for wild camping guests. With stunning views of the South Downs and Chanctonbury Ring, fall asleep to the sound of nightingales and wake up to the cuckoo or barn own.
Guests bring their own tents or campervan, and we provide an eco-toilet and drinking water. Large groups of 10+ guests should hire in toilet and shower units for the weekend.

off grid Shepherd Hut

Get cosy in our off grid shepherd hut has views over watermeadows with stunning sunsets. Cuddle up around the cozy wood burning stove and relax to the sounds of the surrounding nature.
The comfy double bed turns into a table with 2 benches making this an ideal writers retreat, just to get away from it all.
The solar panels powers up a battery so you can recharge your phones. Outside is a gas stove to boiling the kettle, and an eco toilet with handwashing facilities nearby.
