Weald & Downland Living Museum has launched a new wedding package
Tailored towards those planning a relaxed and informal wedding day, the package includes use of the venue’s enchanting timber-framed Crawley Hall, which is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships. Guests can then enjoy carefully curated grazing hampers from local caterers Fig & Lemon featuring plenty of original regional flavours and produce.
Set in the Museum’s Medieval market square and surrounded by cobbled paths and historical buildings, Crawley Hall offers a one-of-a-kind setting for those looking for an intimate wedding with up to 40 guests. Mouth-watering hampers will be delivered following the ceremony for nearest and dearest to enjoy in the barn or outside in one of the many picturesque picnic spots that overlook the Mill Pond and surrounding grounds. The hampers include a luxury afternoon tea featuring delicacies such as locally-produced sparkling wine, Sussex cheese, homemade scones and jam, fresh fruit and cured meat, all sourced nearby.
As part of the package, you and your loved ones can also enjoy access to the Museum’s historical buildings and tranquil grounds, which make an ideal backdrop for your wedding photos. You’ll also be gifted a one-year joint adult membership allowing you to revisit and relive the memories from your magical wedding day throughout the year.
The Weald & Downland Living Museum’s West Sussex Wedding Package is £70 per person for parties of up to 40 people, which includes all-day use of Crawley Barn (9am-5pm), hampers and Museum access.
