Tie the knot at lovely lakeside venue The Ravenswood

Built in 1426, this historical manor-house venue exudes warmth and charm.

Boasting wooden beams, cosy corners, warm fireplaces and elegant staircases, The Ravenswood ensures your wedding photos will be every bit as stylish and beautiful. Set among 18 acres of grounds, when you arrive via the private driveway you’re immediately taken away by the elegance and charm of the 15th-century building that lay before you. Grand entrances, tall castle towers and a fairytale tower all await. What’s more, the stunning surroundings feature four lakes, ruins, bridges, a gorgeous boat house, pleasure gardens, a patio and even a giant chair.

There’s seating for 150 ceremony guests outside the Little Castle. This stunning structure offers you an outdoor space for your vows with bags of character. Inside, the Old Baronial Hall has a rustic feel with wooden beams, staircase, open fire and glass door offering views of the grounds. It can accommodate 150 for the “I dos.” The recently renovated Jacobean Suite is also available for ceremonies and can seat 110. This light and airy space overlooks the grounds and is decorated in neutral colours. For your reception, seating is available for 150 in the Princess Beatrice Suite. This is a breathtaking round room complete with wooden ceiling, elegant drapes, large windows and its own bar.

You’ll be offered a complimentary menu tasting and use of a gorgeous room especially for your bridal party preparations. Plus, the newly refurbished honeymoon suite is included in all wedding packages.
