The badge of honour

The crème de le crème of the South East’s wedding industry amassed at the charming Field Place Manor House & Barns for the prestigious South East Regional Wedding Industry Awards recently.

TWIA has been designed to recognise the businesses and individuals who are not only the finest at what they do in each region across the country but also those who are the most innovative, creative and the most trusted by their clients (as they are voted by them first). After the initial voting done by the clients of each contestant, an expert judging panel assesses each shortlisted contestant based on everything from these client votes and reviews through to their social media, websites, and most importantly – the work they have done.  This is the most rigorous judging approach in the industry ensuring that the awards are based on skill, and not popularity, and the very best in the industry are credited for the work they do.

Unlike many other awards out there, TWIA is worth its weight in gold as the only independent awards process that assesses suppliers work at a regional and national level, and on an even playing field for all suppliers. Furthermore the shinning judging panel encompasses some of the most acclaimed players in the industry, who undergo a meticulous judging process that is done independently, remotely and without consultation, and ultimately founded on quality. In a highly saturated and rather unregulated industry TWIA gives suppliers the opportunity to be accredited by a professional, entrusted and ‘governing’ industry body.

Sara Ellis Founder & CEO of To Have & To Hire Events, commented: “We are over joyed and absolutely blown away on winning Best Venue Stylist for the South East. It’s such a deep feeling of happiness and gratitude to be awarded and recognised by not only our lovely clients, but also industry leaders for all our hard work – and doing something we love. Winning this award only further concretes our passion and drive to excel further and strive for perfection, as well as push boundaries in creativity.”
