In celebration of English Wine Week (Saturday 15th to Saturday 22nd June), The Gallivant Camber Sands, located close to the lush vineyards of East Sussex, invites guests to a series of tasting sessions. Sample a selection of excellent English wines, from the region’s best producers including Oxney and Gusbourne.

With one of the largest collections of English wine in the country, The Gallivant team has handpicked a selection of their favourites for six exclusive tastings. Guests can enjoy the tastings in the serene setting of the property's wild-flowered garden or within the intimate Cabin Room. Each event will be hosted by a local winery, offering unique insights into the craftsmanship and history of English wine production in the destination.

Each session is limited to fifteen guests, ensuring a more personal and engaging experience and afterwards, guests have the option to delight in the Prix Fixe menu, with highlights including Braised Pig Cheek, Monk Fish, soy and ginger broth, and Wild Garlic orzotto, English asparagus and Twineham Grange.

Join the team for tastings with Gusbourne on the 21st June and Squerryes Wine Tasting 22nd June. Both tastings start at 5pm and run for 60 minutes.

All tastings require a one-off £5 cover charge per person, which will be donated to Blood Cancer UK, The Gallivant’s preferred charity.

Costs such as new outfits, travel and accommodation, and gifts mean the overall expense of attending can quickly add up. Duncan Fortune, Head of Commercial at Tesco Bank, says: "Wedding season can be a significant expense for households. Planning ahead and setting a dedicated budget for celebrations can help spread the cost over several months, allowing people to make the most of the celebrations while keeping their finances on track."
