Steve and Tania, wedding photographers based in Haywards Heath, wanted to do something to support the the NHS and the wonderful work they're doing for us at this time and came across the idea of taking doorstep portraits as a great way to raise money and keep doing what they love – taking photos! To date they’ve raised £710 and are hoping to raise more as others get in touch to take part.

Tania commented, “People want to have a nice photo to remind them of this unprecedented time. With that, they will remember the VE street parties, the beautiful weather we had and how everyone came together to clap for the NHS and emergency workers”.

It’s easy to arrange your own a doorstep portrait. Just visit www.steveandtaniaphotography.uk/doorstep-portraits, fill out a short form and Steve and Tania will get in touch and figure out the best time and day to visit. They then obviously take the photo from a safe distance and send the digital photos to you within a day or two.

Steve said, “People have been so generous with their donations. We initially wanted to raise £150 but since then, we’ve increased our target and hope to reach £1000 before the end of lockdown”.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
