On Sunday 23 September, The Grand will be holding its very own wedding showcase – a chance for wedding couples-to-be to explore the five-star hotel’s stunning rooms, three of which are licensed for wedding ceremonies, and to see the wide range of suites available for every special celebration.

There will be a host of hand-picked wedding specialists in attendance who will provide inspiration for every detail of your special day from wedding outfits, florists, beautiful cakes, theming ideas, jewellery and entertainment, plus much more, to make the perfect wedding day complete.

The Grand can cater for weddings of all styles and sizes, from intimate afternoon teas and private hire of the fine-dining Mirabelle Restaurant, to lavish celebrations in the Compton Ballroom with its ornate décor and stained-glass windows. The hotel also offers the perfect backdrop for wedding photos, whether taken on the beach opposite, on the balcony of the Presidential Suite or in the grandeur of the Great Hall.

There are a range of packages to choose from, including welcoming Winter Weddings and luxurious Diamond Package, or couples can make the most of the events team’s wealth of expertise to help plan something truly bespoke.

Bride Heidi, who married at The Grand earlier this year, said: “The whole day was amazing. It was the best day of my life, I felt like royalty. The ceremony was in the Arundel room, which was beautifully presented and made the ceremony very intimate. The magnificent Princes room was chosen for the grandeur of the room and the ability to fit one banquet table for all the guests and The Compton Ballroom was chosen for the evening as it is the perfect setting for an elegant evening celebration with room for a band and a dance floor. I just kept thinking, I’ve been a princess for the last two days. The staff at The Grand was lovely and the food was outstanding.”

This free admission showcase event will run from 11am – 3pm. Couples can turn up on the day for an informal chat with The Grand's dedicated wedding coordinators, a glass of bubbly and a show round of the hotel.
