Herts-based, award-winning Sight 'N' Sound has had a complete overhaul of equipment, with virtually...
Welcome to the third instalment of our catering extravaganza! This week we've been chatting to Pippa O'Neill of Tie the Knot Catering who shared her thoughts on what to serve from drinks reception to evening bash.
"Tie the Knot are an award-winning catering company based in West Sussex, feeding people in love and their families since 2012. We specialise in modern twists on classic British dishes and creating menus that not only wow aesthetically and in taste but can also be delivered in the same impeccable manner from the very first bite to the very last plate served.
TO CANAPE OR NOT TO CANAPE
"The tone setter of your wedding breakfast. Much like your something old, something new; think of your canape selection as your something bold, something entirely reflective of you. Canapes are the perfect opportunity to showcase the elements of your love story you’re worried are too specific for your wedding breakfast. A time to have all the arancini or Asian inspired cuisine without having to worry that Aunty Julie doesn’t like Italian food.
MILESTONE MENU FOR THE MR & MRS
"When it comes to a three-course dinner, our preferred recipe for success is to combine a heady collision of beautiful taste and refreshing substance. Every dish on our menus is both hearty, and exploding with flavour, so our top tip is to pick something that you think is amazing. There will always be one or two guests who would have picked something else, but luckily for them, our vegetarian menu is just as superb!
OWN THE NIGHT
"You want to have your dream three-course wedding breakfast. You imagine it as the perfect concoction of glamour and elegance. You also, however, really want to have an excuse to eat chicken curry on your wedding day. Whilst it could be conceived as risky to have an entirely noodle based wedding breakfast, our evening food wok boxes allow for you to channel your deep love for Asian cuisine whilst letting the wedding breakfast maintain a certain level of formality! Our top tip is to use evening food to have all your favourite foods on one day; roast beef AND pizzas? Totally doable!"
