Celebrate English Wine Week with the pioneer of English sparkling wine

English Wine Week returns for 2025 from 21st – 29th June and what better way to celebrate than with the pioneers of English sparkling wine, Nyetimber? From booking an Open Weekend at the Nyetimber estate for a Tour and Tasting, to reading the Nyetimber coffee table book at home with a glass of sparkling wine, there are many ways to celebrate with Nyetimber this English Wine Week.

Nyetimber has won multiple awards and just last month, 1086 by Nyetimber 2010 was awarded top scoring Global sparkling and top scoring wine overall at London Wine Fair's 'Battle of the Bubbles.' Twenty-six wines from all over the world were tasted by sixteen expert judges, who gave each one a score out of 100. 1086 by Nyetimber 2010 pipped prestige cuvées from Champagne – including Dom Perignon 2013 and Dom Krug Grande Cuvée, 172ème Édition – to reach the top spot. The win follows a host of award wins for Nyetimber at the International Wine Challenge, including three trophy wins. 1086 by Nyetimber 2013 was awarded the English Classic Blend Trophy whilst Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs 2016 Magnum was awarded the English Blanc de Blancs Trophy and English Sparkling Trophy. Nyetimber also received two Gold medals for its 1086 by Nyetimber 2013 and 1086 by Nyetimber Rosé 2013; both of which scored 96 points out of 100. Nyetimber's Blanc de Blancs 2016 Magnum was also awarded a Gold medal, with 97 points.

Tours and Tastings at the Nyetimber Estate

This experience offers guests the opportunity to stroll through Nyetimber’s historic vineyards set amidst the rolling hills of the South Downs, followed by a guided tasting of Nyetimber’s celebrated cuvees. The day comprises an introduction to the rich history of Nyetimber and the Estate, a guided walking tour through our historic vineyards, and a guided tasting of Nyetimber’s celebrated sparkling wines. The two-and-a-half-hour experience spans two and a half hours and includes the opportunity to purchase Nyetimber wines at cellar door prices, with the ticket price fully redeemable against a case of six bottles purchased on the day.
