"At each wedding I photograph, I go out of my way to ensure smiles from even the most camera shy. No matter the weather, I know I'm sharing the most remarkable experience with a couple, their family and friends. Everyone is happy, so what's not to love?

"Paul Talbot Photography is very much a family affair. My wife, Helen works alongside me, helping with the day to day running of the business. Her background is in marketing and finance but she's also a talented photographer who loves social media. She understands the needs of the business and is the person who holds everything together. The linchpin, you might say, to both the business and our lives with our children, Mia and Zac who are growing up far too quickly and becoming their own personalities!

A national study of 2,000 UK adults found that 81% believe a wedding does not need to be perfect to be memorable, while 71% say social media has increased pressure on couples to create a "perfect" day. Sustainability is also becoming a key consideration, with 52% saying it is important when planning a wedding. Yet wedding waste remains widespread, with 41% of respondents having seen food and drink thrown away at weddings, while 32% recalled single-use decorations being discarded and more than a quarter had seen flowers go to waste.
