Wine and dine at Ashdown Park's new Forest Brasserie

Ashdown Park's new Forest Brasserie

Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club, in Forest Row, East Sussex, has opened its new Forest Brasserie. A casual dining experience, overlooking the beautiful countryside and the hotel's private golf course, it pairs beautifully with the Hotel's acclaimed Anderida Restaurant in the main house.

Located in the Hotel's Country Club the Forest Brasserie is thoughtfully appointed and its interior design cleverly draws upon the surroundings of the Ashdown Forest by subtly weaving in some of the area's history. AA Milne, creator of the much-loved Winnie the Pooh books, was once a frequent visitor and his work has long provided the area with a strong historical legacy. Alongside this famous link, the interiors also reflect the natural surroundings with warm country tones, complementing carefully-sourced soft furnishings and artwork conveying a tranquil countryside ambience.

Working hand-in-hand with local suppliers, executive chef Tony Sanders recognises the importance of championing fabulous local food and wine available in Sussex and Kent, enabling the Brasseries to reduce its carbon footprint. The intention is to create an epicurean calendar across the year, incorporating the area's fresh produce across a series of creative promotions, masterclasses, talks and tastings. Not only does it provide creative, seasonal menus, but a variety of innovative vegetarian and vegan options are also on offer.

Opening from 10am daily, the Forest Brasserie is the ideal place for a relaxed breakfast with friends and family, a weekly catch-up over coffee and pastries, or a well-deserved lunch or supper with your soon-to-be spouse.
