With its spectacular views of Buckhurst Park, as well as its gardens and lakes, the manor house is the beautiful ancestral home of William Sackville, the 11th Earl De La Warr and his wife Anne. A much-loved family residence, historical yet intimate and welcoming, Buckhurst provides the ideal combination of grandeur and romance for your wedding day. This exclusive-use venue hosts just six weddings per year running May to the beginning of September.

THE “I DOS”
The nearby Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels in Withyham, a beautiful and historical church with ancient ties to the Sackville family, is available for your ceremony should you wish. Alternatively, the team are happy to provide a blessing in the grounds if you prefer.

CELEBRATE AL FRESCO
At Buckhurst Park, wedding parties or receptions are held in marquees in the gardens with a maximum of 250 guests. The venue works with superb caterers and marquee companies who can take the worry and hard work out of your arrangements.

Although there’ no on-site accommodation at Buckhurst Park itself, Lord De La Warr’s pub at the bottom of the drive, The Dorset Arms, has a cottage with nine beautiful rooms available on a bed and breakfast basis. The bride will also have access to a bedroom in the house on the wedding day.
