New interactive feature to make hen and stag dos less stressful

A new randomised spinning wheel feature has been launched by Hen Weekends and Stag Weekends in an effort to make the planning process of hen and stag parties easier and less stressful.

This comes as their recent study of hen and stag party bookings found that 30% of hen and stag party organisers have no idea which location to book, with so many different options on offer creating quite the predicament.

The wheel features a whole plethora of stag and hen party destinations, including those in the UK, as well as Europe and the USA. Once a random destination has been chosen, it shows all the different activities that can be booked and enjoyed there by the party.

On introducing the wheel to the sites, Alicia Currie from Hen Weekends and Stag Weekends said, "Our goal with the roulette wheel is to aid in the process of organising and booking the most amazing hen and stag parties possible, without all the stress that's usually involved in coming up with the perfect destination and activities that are both accommodating and fun. Our study found that 30% of groups have no idea where they want to go or what they want to do, and this adds so much unnecessary stress into the planning process that can really dampen the overall mood. This is why we believe it's better to leave it up to fate, and have introduced our wheel to do just that."

The interactive wheel can be found on the Hen Weekends and on the Stag Weekends sites.

One in seven couples choose sleep over sex on their wedding night

As the UK's spring and summer wedding season begins, new research by Mattress Online suggests the traditional idea of a passion-filled wedding night doesn't always match reality, with one in six couples (15%) saying they did not have sex after their big day. To understand why, the bed experts also asked survey respondents what their reasoning was behind this. They also provided additional insight on the idea of the "wedding night" from Relationship Expert, Jenni Trent Hughes. The findings show that exhaustion was by far the most common factor, with more than two in five (44%) of couples saying they were simply too tired after the celebrations. As weddings often involve early starts, long days, emotional highs, and late nights, rest is a more realistic priority than romance once newlyweds are in bed.
