It was time to celebrate not only being able to re-open the doors to the extremely popular Q Hair and Beauty salon in Chichester, but also for all the team as they heard they had been named as finalists in the hair industry’s leading national awards.

The multi-award-winning salon on North Street, which has sister branches in Donnington and Midhurst, has won through to a place in the finals in three categories of the prestigious Salon Business Awards. Against hotly-contested competition from leading salons all over the UK, Q are now in the running to win the titles of Green Salon and very well-deserved Salon Team. As well as vying for top place in those categories, they could alsoscoop the overall title of Ultimate Salon.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be recognised again in this way,” said Q’s managing director, Dawn Lawrence-Grant. “It’s a tribute to the wonderful teams we have in our Chichester, Midhurst and Donnington salons and an honour for a local independent business like ours to be through to the finals in such important awards among top salons from all over the country," she continues.

“Our team deserve this and more as we’ve pulled together tirelessly to work our way through the lockdown periods and now deliver our best hairdressing and beauty therapy to the local community,” added general manager Kain Lawrence.

The Salon Business Awards winners will be announced during Summer 2021 at a fabulous physical and virtual grand final evening at Quaglino’s, Bury Street, London.
