Eastbourne revealed as the sunniest spot to book during June

With a lot of uncertainty over travelling abroad this year, a new study from www.uswitch.com has revealed the best spots in the UK to book a staycation and when you should go to get the best weather. As part of their Sunny Staycations campaign, the broadband team at Uswitch have crunched the numbers to reveal Eastbourne in Sussex as the top staycation spot for the best weather during June.

Eastbourne was revealed to have an average max temperature of 18c and had the least amount of rain in June at just 47mm compared to Loch Lomond, The Isle of Skye and Cairngorms.

Known for its pebble beaches and perfect sunsets, Eastbourne is a popular destination for staycations. And for those looking to make the most of the weather, it's recommended that you visit in June. Compared to any other month in the year, Eastbourne had an average max temperature of 18 and just 47mm of rain.

For example, Holywell beach, is a quaint little cove and the beach is also dog-friendly - perfect if you want to bring your fur baby along.
