From getting ready shots, to the first dance, there are hundreds of special moments to capture over a whole day when it comes to wedding photography. A favourite shot might be the bride/groom walking down the aisle, or the couple portraits are always special post-vows; but it doesn't always go to plan, especially when involving pets, children and in this case... food!

Take a peek at these food-inspired snaps that were all finalists in the Champagne Taittinger Wedding Food Photographer category at the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year awards... was the winner your favourite too?

"Normally weddings run to plan, but it's really fun to capture the moments where things go a little off script." says Armstrong-Millar, an Irish photographer who has lived near Bordeaux for over 15 years and was the winner of the category of the above image titled 'Many a Slip'.

She says, "During this past year I have had to modify my wild dining events that I host occasionally, and came up with the idea of anyone wishing to get married during lockdown by offering a wild tiny wedding with an exquisite banquet in a remote secret location in Scotland. This is one of the images from our first minuscule event."
