New visitor attraction coming to the heart of Brighton

Brighton seafront

Pod Experiences - the team behind Pier Pressure, Brighton’s popular and award-winning escape room provider – is thrilled to announce a new experience visitor attraction in the centre of Brighton, coming in April 2021.

The new attraction, Paradox Place, will feature four floors of incredible optical illusions, immersive artworks, mind bending magic tricks and surprising wonders: Brighton’s very first tourist attraction of this nature. The attraction will be situated in the heart of the North Laine, just a short walk from Brighton station, at 94 Gloucester Road, BN1 - the building formerly occupied by Warren Evans bedmakers which has been empty for two-and-a-half years.

The new attraction will also include an exciting shop selling puzzles, tricks, toys, games and gadgets on the ground floor while incredible illusions and wonders will be spread around the whole building. The whole visitor experience will take between approximately 60-90 minutes.

Pier Pressure’s Creative Director Philly Harris, “We are very excited to be embarking on this new attraction, especially as it something that hasn’t been seen before in the South of England. Keeping true to the values with which we launched Pier Pressure, we will settle for nothing less than a high-quality experience that will hopefully become one of the highlights of anyone’s visit to Brighton.” She added: “It’s always been hugely important to us is to celebrate this incredible city and, like we did at Pier Pressure, we will be making sure there is a Brighton twist on the exhibits.”

Building work will commence January 2021, with a proposed opening date of April 2021. More information can be found at www.paradoxplace.co.uk.
