Wedding-dress shopping goes with a BOO at The Bride Shop this Halloween

This Halloween Bud and Flower and Cath Adam @ The Bride Shop have collaborated on a super-spooky seasonal showcase to bring the shop to life... or death! Having had the privilege of making an arch around The Bridal Shop's door when a well known reality TV show came to film there earlier in the year, Bud and Flower now decorates the doorway on a regular basis. Its  neighbours have taken a keen interest in these decorations, so the team have taken this fun opportunity to spread a little joy and bring the community together in these uncertain times.

Bud and Flower specialises in weddings and events, offers nearlyweds a bespoke floral design service. Florist Chrissy Thornton gathers inspiration from nature using the most enchanting blooms, buds, seed heads and foliage to create modern and traditional arrangements. From buttonholes to bouquets, floral arches to aisles, whether it be something simple and elegant or a magnificent showstopper - no job is too big or small. She also grows a lot of her own seasonal blooms, helping to cut the carbon footprint and make floral arrangements more suitable.

Cath Adam @ The Bride Shop is a beautiful bridal boutique located on Hazelwick Road, Three Bridges. Its offers a relaxed, unhurried one-to-one appointment-only service in a tranquil environment to ensure you have the team's undivided attention. It boasts a complete range of stunning bridal dresses and accessories including veils, tiaras, combs and a variety of fur and lace jackets.

Cath the owner, a silversmith by trade, also offers a unique service making exquisite jewellery including handmade wedding rings to fit snugly around the sometimes unusual shape of an engagement ring. These can be made in either white, rose, or yellow Gold, Platinum or Silver.

From best mates to distant relatives: Brits reveal the wedding gift hierarchy

How much should you spend on a wedding gift? It seems the answer depends on just how well you know the happy couple. New research from One4all Gift Cards has revealed that almost half of Brits (49%) would spend less on a wedding gift if they were not particularly close to the couple. The relationship came out ahead of travel and accommodation costs (38%) and paying for a hen or stag do (28%) when it comes to factors influencing how much guests are prepared to spend. For those closest to them, Brits consider an average of £77 per person to be an acceptable wedding gift. The most popular amount was between £50 and £100, selected by 43% of respondents, while 36% believe spending up to £50 is perfectly acceptable. Just 5% would spend more than £200.
