News from the Hydro, Eastbourne

The hotel's re-opening on 4th July has been successful and the team has been pleased to see so many familiar faces as well as new guests. Everyone at the Hydro is working tirelessly hard with our new safety measures and have received positive feedback on enhancements, such as the upgraded breakfast to a la carte and the convenience of having a dedicated table in the Crystal Restaurant for use throughout the stay.

The swimming pool has also re-opened with residential guests now able to enjoy the pool sunloungers, terrace and take a dip in the heated outdoor pool.

In line with the most recent government guidelines the hotel is now able to host wedding receptions and other functions for up to 30 people, with social distancing applied. Both the Wedgwood room and Garden Suite are large private rooms, each with its own private sea view terrace.

Covid-19 accreditation

The team has carefully reviewed all of its health and safety protocols, undertaken risk assessments, staff training and also created a guest guide. As part of this process the hotel has been awarded Covid-19 Confident accreditation from the AA and We’re Good To Go certification from Visit England.
