Shoot coordinator and make-up artist Kate Waller set out to showcase some elegant examples of the morning of a wedding featuring the bride and her bridesmaids. She says, "As the make-up artist it's such a special time to share with the bride, while she enjoys a glass of bubbly and really celebrates a relaxing morning before the sometimes-nervous and busy part of the day begins."
Kate says, "The shoot shows the fun, elegant and enjoyable ways to spend the morning of the wedding with bridesmaids."
"I've included a breakfast, processco, silk robes, hair and make-up being done, and the wedding shoes being showcased, through to the bridesmaids helping the bride with her dress before the ceremony. It's such an exciting part of the day and a part that can be relaxing with moments to remember with the nearest and dearest."
By the morning of the wedding everything should be taken care of and what will be will be, so don't stress. The day will fly by so fast - enjoy every second with your best girls being pampered and made to feel like a princess. It'll be your last moments of calm before the whirlwind begins.
Don't forget the elements you might want to enjoy on your wedding morning. For example, do you have bubbles at the ready? Are there any gifts you'd like to give your bridesmaids before events get underway? Does everyone have a comfy yet elegant robe and slippers. These are the small touches that will make the morning even more special during your last hours as a single lady.
Be sure to have a proper breakfast. You'll need to be well-fuelled to get you through to the wedding breakfast, and so much will happen between the morning and then - you won't want to do any of it on an empty tum. It's also good to have some snacks on standby, so you can graze while you're having your hair done.
Shoes are a girl's best friend, and we love these stunners from Emmy London.
Simple, pared-back, elegant bridal looks are on trend at the moment. Keep skin fresh and flawless, with natural, barely-there make-up.
A sleek bun looks super-stunning with a few complementing hair accessories and minimal jewellery. We're in love with this model's ballerina-esque style.
Be sure to discuss with your photographer ahead of time what photos you'd like captured throughout the day, and don't forget your morning preparations. For example, you may want a shot of you as soon as you're 100 per cent ready, a picture of your father seeing you for the first time, a shot of you and your bride tribe... these will be memories you'll treasure forever.
