Petworth Places is delighted to announce the launch of their bespoke wedding service, Petworth Weddings, offering unique and intimate venues for smaller wedding parties at The Angel Inn, Ryde House and E. Street Bar & Grill. 

Petworth is a quintessential, English market town nestled in the romantic South Downs, providing an array of historic and characterful architecture as a charming location for weddings. The town provides the perfect venue for smaller weddings where food, delightful surroundings and an intimate setting provide the key to a day of dreams. Petworth Weddings will offer an exquisite wedding planning service and the choice to hold ceremonies and wedding breakfasts at one of Petworth Places’ venues, all within easy walking distance of each other: 

E. Street Bar & Grill

E. Street Bar & Grill is a stylish bistro offering an exceptional seasonal menu, much of which is sourced from local suppliers such as Nyetimber, Goodwood and Nutbourne. The Stag Room with its vaulted ceilings, beams and sensational antique crystal chandeliers is a stunning setting for a rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and breakfast. Larger parties can be accommodated by booking exclusive use of E. Street Bar & Grill, allowing great flexibility throughout the space.

The Angel Inn

The historic Angel Inn forms part of Petworth Places and provides the ideal venue for a wedding. The inn offers seven beautiful rooms, including a stunning suite and boasts an impressive menu of delicious freshly made food. The Courtyard Garden is a highlight feature of The Angel, shaded by magnolia trees and perfumed by wisteria, creating a magical setting for a summer wedding.

Ryde House

Ryde House is a stunning three bedroom 19th century Georgian villa available for private hire independently or alongside The Angel Inn. Ryde House provides a charming setting with versatile reception space and a relaxing retreat for a bridal or wedding party.

Newlands House

To ensure the day’s moments are captured, a wedding photographer can be arranged to take photographs at the magnificent Newlands House, a spacious Georgian Townhouse, providing an idyllic backdrop for photography.
