Timepieces to treasure

Timepieces to treasure: Image 1

Raymond Weil has, for almost half a century, been embedding its values at the very heart of its watches. The family business creates elegant and refined watches for women and men. Founded in 1976, it's now headed by Elie Bernheim, grandson of the founder who gave his name to the company. Building on more than 40 years of experience, the Swiss watchmaking Maison brings to the fore the watchmaking skills and expertise patiently acquired in Switzerland over the centuries. Precision, quality, reliability, nobility and hightech materials are the demanding standards of a philosophy that earns it the much-coveted 'Swiss-made' label.

Now, the watchmaker proudly presents its latest additions to the signature maestro collection. These new timepieces maintain the collection's classic elegance with a subtle touch of modernity in the face design and luxe leather straps. Inspired by music, these new maestro timepieces were composed in a distinctive form, which features the harmonious RW4200 mechanical movement, automatic winding, and a 38 hour power reserve. Their 40mm cases hold dials finished with nickel galvanic plating appliques on mark hours and beautiful baton shaped hands for the hours, minutes and seconds. The large date window at 3 o'clock ensures optimal readability to be a perfect fit for any watch aficionado.

One model features a striking rose gold PVD plated steel case complemented with rose gold indexes and hands – details which are beautifully contrasted by the galvanic grey dial. The second model boasts a polished steel case with matching indexes and hands with a character reinforced by a sophisticated textured opaline silver dial; perfect for classic style.

Also available is the egerly awaited third maestro The Beatles timepiece, limited to just 3,000 pieces. Inspired by Sergeat Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album it stands out through its use of innovative material and design. The black strap is the first from Raymond Weil made from vegan leather and the case-back presents a smoked sapphire crystal that carries the official The Beatles logo and teh limited edition number engraving.

The maestro collection achieves timeless elegance through tradition and sophistication, so if you're looking for a truly special wedding day gift for your husband-to-be, check out the collection at www.thbaker.co.uk - Brighton and www.georgemossjewellers.com – Uckfield.
