Take a trip around the world this summer

Take a trip around the world this summer: Image 1 Looking for something a bit different to do with the children this summer?  Sussex’s top experience attraction is opening its doors to families for an authentic, fascinating account of hilarious and gruesome history from around the world.

The educational experience entitled ‘Horrible Mysteries’ is based at Phileas Fogg’s World of Adventures in Brighton and guides visitors through 12 four-dimensional themed sets. Going around the world begins with a train ride from Paris. People then experience a mummification in Eygpt, sailing the seas with smugglers, and a stint in a Wild West saloon bar, among others. All rooms were handcrafted by the same team behind the Harry Potter and James Bond props and scenery. Each room is brought to life with scents and special effects all cleverly held together by a costumed actor providing side-splitting storytelling.

Graham Owen, Director at Phileas Fogg’s World of Adventures, said: “We have opened the Horrible Mysteries in time for the summer holidays to give an extra offering to those looking to do something a little bit different with children. The interactive experience promises laughter, screams and surprises along the way, but most importantly it's educational so it keeps the children’s minds active over the long summer break.”

Tickets are priced from £19.95, and currently when you purchase a full-price ticket you get a second for half price. Visit www.horriblemysteries.co.uk or call 01273 007 799.
