This breath-taking former royal palace of King George IV, a remarkable monument to the romantic era of the Regency period, is one of the most uniquely beautiful buildings in Britain. Located in the heart of Brighton & Hove’s Cultural Quarter it offers an unmatched setting for holding your special day.
Restored to its original 1823 splendour with Indian architecture and spectacular interiors inspired by China, there’s simply no other venue in Britain quite like it.
Within the palace there are two rooms licensed for civil ceremonies; the exquisite Red Drawing Room (accommodating up to 44 with fees from £815) or for a ceremony that will certainly never be forgotten there’s the magnificent Music Room (available for evening ceremonies, accommodating up to 90, with fees from £3,650), a truly dazzling room in which to exchange your vows.
Once you’ve said ‘I do’, you can then make your way out into the Regency gardens, where groups of flowers and flourishing evergreens frame striking views of the palace creating a picture-perfect backdrop.
Receptions can be held in the elegant King William IV Room (accommodating a maximum of 60 seated, with fees from £1,350), featuring hand-painted Chinese style wallpaper and lanterns. All catering is to be supplied by your choice of one of our approved quality caterers.
The palace’s Weddings Team offer a bespoke service and will ensure that a gracious welcome awaits all. From your first visit to your special day, they are on hand to help make sure everything runs smoothly.
