This year is whizzing by, and I can’t believe I’ve now completed a full year on Your Sussex Wedding! It seems like only yesterday I was introducing myself to you. I’ve loved every minute of it, from the gorgeous real weddings to the stunning styled shoots. It’s been a privilege to bring you the very best of the county, and long may it continue. In fact, in this issue, our 80th, we have no fewer than 16 pages of inspiration from readers’ own wedding days to bring you, as well as nine pages of glorious shoots from the astoundingly talented suppliers of Sussex.
Living in Sussex, you’re lucky enough to have your pick of characterful coastal locations in which to host your nuptials, and that’s just what we’ll be exploring on pages 29-33.
Something that never stops evolving is cake! Well and truly gone are the days of Victoria sponge, fruit or bust. This issue sees the super-talented bakers of Sussex showcase the year’s top trends in a feature that looks good enough to eat. Follow the cake crumbs over to page 77. What’s more, we’ve got a bumper fashion section as we look at dressing absolutely everyone for the big day. We’ve scoured the county to find out what’s hot in bridal party attire and our fashion editor, Claire Ridley, has put together an incredible showcase of lace and short-style gowns to inspire your search.
