If you’re reading Your Sussex Wedding for the first time because you said “yes” to the most important question you’re ever likely to be asked over the festive period or Valentine’s Day – let us offer you a very warm welcome and our heartfelt congratulations. You’re about to embark on the ride of your life, and we’ll be with you every step of the way with wedspiration and tips at every turn, all with the help of the region’s incredible wedding suppliers. Speaking of our local bunch of talented experts, they’ve outdone themselves this issue with four stunning styled shoots, so different from each other, yet all inspiring in their own way. So, whatever your style, there’s bound to be something to catch your eye. Don’t miss them on pages 67, 71, 75 and 84. Looking forward to spring already we’ve decided to take a look at big-day blooms. The county’s florists show us how to reflect your colour palette everywhere from the bouquet to the centrepieces. Plus, we’ve put together three pages of non stop bling in our jewellery and accessories feature. Before you go, don’t forget to check out Hot Topic (page 89), our experts’ indispensible guide to bringing an added air of romance to your nuptials, inspired by Valentine’s Day. Happy planning! | | |

Spotlight on Uckfield & around |

Crockstead Farm Hotel
A small country hotel set in more than 200 acres of private parkland, Crockstead Farm Hotel is located in the heart of the Sussex countryside. It has a rustic feel created by the beams, stone floor and brick walls, which is elevated by its chandeliers. There’s plenty to catch the eye as it’s decorated throughout with antiques alongside modern oil paintings.
Crockstead’s many orginal builidngs date back to the 13th-century. They’ve been updated, but the original beams maintain the charm and feel. Overlooking a pond, lawns and a courtyard, the hotel is ideally situated for a country wedding offering photo opportunities aplenty. Before sitting down to eat, guests can sip their drinks and savour delicious canapés whilst strolling around the gardens and sun-flooded courtyard. The wildlife is always a fascination with tame free-roaming peacocks, ducks and chickens all resident on the grounds.
