June holds something dear to me, as it’s the month in which my amazing parents tied the knot back in the heady days of the 1970s. So while I get caught up in flowers, dresses and styling, my dear mum and dad, with their 46 years of matrimony, remind me of the bigger picture. After the best day of your lives comes something so much more – a marriage – and, my goodness, that’s worth celebrating.
So with no further ado, let’s talk about our spectacular summer issue. As I’m sure you’ve gathered by this point, food is a subject very dear to my heart…and stomach! We’ve put together a mouth-watering roundup of delectable delicacies. Head over to page 91, but perhaps not on an empty tum!
Finding the right photographer can be a minefield. Hands up – before I began my journey here at CWM Towers, I had no idea of the huge spectrum of options. A photographer is a photographer, right? Wrong! There’s documentary vs. traditional; black and white vs. colour; engagement shoots and first-look shoots. We’ve put together a gorgeous variety of showstopping images so you can get a clearer picture of how you’d like your W-day to be captured. Feast your eyes on the feature from page 75.

South Lodge
South Lodge’s sweeping drive leads you to a striking neo- Jacobean house. As you enter, you’re met with a delightful blend of traditional and modern design, bringing the old and new into perfect harmony. Situated within 93 acres of stunning grounds, awash with colour from spring to autumn, the venue has been sympathetically extended to create a wonderful location for traditional nuptials or festival-style celebrations in the Lower Lodge Meadow.
The new spa is an ideal spot for some pre-wedding pampering. Enjoy a luxury manicure while sipping on a glass of wine in the Ridgeview Beauty Bar. Gents can enjoy a wet shave or haircut by the excellent barbers while relaxing with a craft beer.
The venue’s ceremony suites certainly look the part, with a red carpet leading the way. The Wordsworth Suite holds 180 people, the Glyndebourne Suite accommodates 80, both the Goodwood and Disraeli Suites can host 60 and the Wedding Pavilion has space for 120. The latter offers you the opportunity to marry against the stunning backdrop of the South Downs.
The Gladstone Suite and the Disraeli Suite both offer simple décor, ready to be styled with your W-day theme. They can play host to 180 and 50 guests, respectively.
