Budd launches its new collection

It was just a question of time until Budd added knitwear to its menswear collection, offering customers cosy knits for the cooler months.
The company's Look-Out Ready to Wear Collection for AW19/20 comprises of sweaters, cardigans and tanks, knitted in Scotland at one of the country's oldest, family-run heritage mills. Whilst Budd has a reputation as a purveyor of shirts and ties, customers like to layer up and dress down so the fineness of the knitwear collection provides the perfect options for this.
   Cashmere yarns come via Loro Piana, who famously source their fleeces from the downy underbelly of Mongolian mountain goats. The result, super-fine, luxurious knitwear that is sublime to the touch, which has been worked into Budd's long sleeve polo shirts, teaming them with light horn buttons. These are perfect worn alone and paired back with jeans for a smart casual effect, or under a sports jacket.
   Layering is made simple and an outfit given a whole new tone by means of cashmere waistcoats - perfect for winter weddings this season. Cosy weekend feels are brought to the fore with textured, seed-stitch crew necks. Merino wool knits are fine, warm and elegant, the fleeces acquired from Australian merino sheep. Simple crew and v-neck sweaters are the backbone of the range, followed up by simple v-neck tanks, mock turtles and an alternative long sleeve polos. These are pieces designed to be worn and worn, versatile in their colour, styling and weight.
  Colours have an organic feel, their inspiration coming from wide, open landscapes and the fruits of the land. Russets, henna, plums and blues, browns and greens are perfect tones for the Winter months, easy to wear and play perfectly in to rest of Budd's collection of shirts, ties, scarves and pocket squares for Autumn/Winter 2019/20.
